Dr. Moriah Lorge, is the Owner and Founder of Lorge Veterinary Services.  Originally from the Tennessee Valley, Dr. Lorge graduated magna Cum laude from Mississippi State with a B.S.  in Animal  and Dairy Sciences and with honors from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (AUCVM).  Dr. Lorge’s past experiences and opportunities in the veterinary and academic community helped cultivate a vison to bring mobile emergency veterinary care to the Tennessee Valley.  After beginning her career in general practice as a mixed animal practitioner, Dr. Lorge transitioned to emergency medicine.  Enjoying both aspects of the veterinary field, Dr. Lorge is bringing them together with Lorge Veterinary Services. Lorge Veterianry services will provide mobile, emergency and affordable care to livestock (cattle, goats, ect.), horses, and their companion animal counterparts.

Dr. Lorge has special interests in preventative medicine and care, emergency medicine, surgery and ultrasonography. When not working, Dr. Lorge enjoys being outside, sports, hiking, camping, and traveling. She hopes to eventually travel to all U.S. National Parks! Dr. Lorge has a large pet family including 3 dogs, 2 cats, and 4 horses.

End of Life Services

Offering discussion about your concerns, thoughts, or questions surrounding in-home euthanasia (end of life services) Sedation to ease discomfort. This injection of a sedative will allow your pet to drift off to a peaceful sleep before the final injection is administered. Cremation services that allow you to keep many different memorials.

Small Animal Preventative Medicine

Offering full preventative medicine services and consults: -Vaccinations -Intestinal parasite screening -Flea and Tick preventative -Heartworm screening and prevention -Routine Bloodwork -Endocrine testing -Nutritional advice and guidance -Urgent care visits (ex. ear, skin, urinary, and allergy problems) -Reproductive services: (ultrasound, progesterone testing, semen evaluation and vaginal AI)
